Our 1,000sq ft. home is in a co-op tenant-owned building in the neighborhood of East Harlem (119th Street between 1st Avenue and Pleasant Avenue). The unit is a railroad format and includes a bedroom with a view, lounge, reading nook/office, dining room, kitchen, and bathroom. The apartment is available for sublet starting August 1st, 2021 until May 31st, 2022.

The apartment has pre-war architectural details, is fully furnished, is clean, and receives great sunlight! The monthly rent is $2,800 which includes, gas, electricity, and hi-speed Wifi. The apartment is on the 5th floor with no elevator and tenants enjoy a common backyard.

The bedroom has a ceiling fan and offers empty storage in two large closets, a large dresser, shelving, and cupboards. The kitchen has a dishwasher and is stocked with cookware, towels, utensils dishes, and small appliances. Sublet includes the use of a new portable A/C unit that can also heat, or dehumidify.

The building is well taken care of, clean and all of the tenants are respectful and peaceful. We are looking for an individual or a couple who can share these values. Sorry, but NO pets or smoking inside the apartment.

Everything is nearby: 2-minute walk to Costco, Aldi, Target, Planet Fitness, Marshalls, Burlington. Whole Foods Prime delivery is available. There are many neighborhood markets Bars/Cafes/Restaurants, amazing street food, the famous Patsys Pizza, banks, parks, and the laundromat is a 4-minute walk (they also provide pick-up and delivery service).

The apartment is near major public transportation. You will have fast access to go to Downtown, Midtown, the Westside, Queens, BX, and BK.
Train: 6 (Green Line) is located at 116th street and Lexington Avenue, 4 & 5 (Express train line) is located at 125th Street and Lexington Avenue. The M116 bus quickly connects you to the 2 & 3 (Red Line) and the A & C (Blue Line)
Buses: M15 is on 1st avenue and 2nd Avenue, M116 crosstown bus, and M103 on 3rd Avenue, M100 & M60 on 125th St. and 2nd Avenue, M101 on 119th St. and 3rd Avenue.

ABOUT THIS LISTER
We are a couple who have been living in this apartment since May 2019. We are both Artists and will be living/working in Florida and Switzerland during the sublet. We will always be available for contact and will also provide a local contact should something arise. Neighbors in the building are friendly and helpful and subletters and guests are expected to show the same care.
